MENTAL MATHS:
Children need to count in 2's, 5's and 10's; they
need to do it mentally counting forward and backwards from any given number.
This will help them once we start multiplying!
Some examples:
2, 4, 6, 8, 10, etc. 5,
10, 15, 20, etc. 100, 90, 80, 70, 60, etc.
7, 12, 17, 22, 27, 32, 37, etc.
ENGLISH:
To be able to ask questions.
To be able to discuss differences
between different story types.
To be able to plan an adventure story
using the main features.
MATHS:
Know multiplications facts for the 2,
5 and 10 times tables.
Know division facts for the 2, 5 and
10 times tables.
Recognise two-digit and three-digit
multiples of 2, 5 or 10.
IPC:
Be able to gather information from
simple sources.
Know about the lives of people in
certain periods of time.
SCIENCE:
To know
what can cause damage to teeth.
