Dear Parent,
In the next few weeks, your son or daughter will begin a
science project in our science class. The science project’s objective is to
give every child hands-on experience using the scientific method. In addition,
each student will have the opportunity to work in small groups and independently
research a topic of their interest. You can help motivate your son or daughter
by taking an interest in the project.
Children will have an opportunity to enter their science
project in the science fair, which takes place on June 14th. The emphasis of
our project is not on winning, but on having positive learning experiences and
having fun.

Estimados padres,
En las siguientes semanas,
su hijo empezará un proyecto de Ciencias en nuestra clase. El objetivo de este
proyecto es brindarle a cada niño una experiencia de primera mano usando el
método científico. Cada estudiante tendrá la oportunidad de investigar independientemente
un tema de su interés. Usted puede ayudar a su hijo interesándose en el
proyecto.
Su hijo tendrá la
oportunidad de inscribir su proyecto en la Feria de Ciencias que tendrá lugar
el 14 de junio. El énfasis de nuestro proyecto no es ganar, sino ser
parte de una experiencia de aprendizaje positiva y divertirse.
