This week's objectives - 3rd December


Hi! These are the objectives in which we will be working this week. Children took their report cards home today. They have all tried hard, but I'm sure we will all continue learning and improving! In Maths, we have been working with word problems and it has been a bit challenging for them. I will try and send some examples with them tomorrow so you can practice at home. If you have any doubts just let me know!

ENGLISH:
·  To know which sound pattern to use in words that have long vowel a, e and i in them
·  To reflect on the feelings of a character
·  To be able to use language to express feelings of a character
·  To be able to use verbs in different contexts
·  To express characters feelings as thought bubbles using first person
MATHS:
·  Solve one-step and two-step problems
·  Identify and estimate fractions in shapes
·  Describe and continue patterns to solve a puzzle

SCIENCE:
·  Consolidate all learning about plants

IPC:
·  To understand that dinosaurs have been found all over the world
·  To know what a fossil is
·  To know what museums do with fossils
·  To understand how fossils become exhibitions
·  To understand how museums create a complete skeleton
